Project: Esperanza talks of how she has found light through the lives of those around her. Her faith and trust in God have allowed her to persevere through challenges. Dance is also profoundly important to Esperanza and has served as a conduit for feeling light and joy, as well as a personal cultural celebration.

Project: For Berenice, she has felt the like of Christ through being in spaces that are conducive to light already. She finds daily comfort in the light of Christ. This was especially pertinent for her during the pandemic. It was through Christ and the temple that she was able to find true peace and comfort at a time that felt so uncertain.
