Each year at the annual Salt Lake City Chamber’s Women & Business Conference, a selection of women are honored for their contributions to business within Utah.
I have had the privilege of working on the videos for this conference for two years now and consider it an incredible honor to celebrate the accomplishments and lives of such inspiring women.

Project: Dr. Donna Milavetz is honored with the Athena award for her innovative achievement in the healthcare sector and entrepreneurial efforts. In addition, her colleagues and peers praise her down-to-earth nature that is ever-lifting of women in her spheres. Her mission in life is to repair the world and Dr. Donna Milavetz is certainly making impressive strides to do so with her work to provide accessible, affordable healthcare wherever possible.

As a long-time advocate for social justice and empowerment, Liz’s tireless and hard work is changing lives.

Project: Kaitlin Eskelson is the president and CEO of Visit Salt Lake, a private, nonprofit organization that promotes the city as a prime destination spot. Not only is Kaitlin a champion for women supporting women, but she has also been strategic and creative in her efforts toward honoring Salt Lake City. It took tenacity and ingenuity to navigate a pandemic right as she assumed position as CEO. For these accomplishments and more, Kaitlin was honored with the Pathfinder award.

Project: Pauline Ploquin worked as president and partner of the advertising agency Struck for many years. As a leader, Pauline felt that it was her responsibility to execute her vision by assembling the right team for the tasks. She speaks of the necessity for female professionals in the industry to believe in themselves and also praises the Chamber for the friendships and connections she gained therein. She was awarded with the Pathfinder award.
Natalie El-Deiry
Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity
Role: Editor
Project: Natalie El-Deiry works within the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity as the director of Immigration and New American integration. She describes her role as building bridges between business and industry in relation to immigration. She is praised for her leadership influence and involvement in the space of immigration within Utah. Natalie received the Pathfinder award.

Project: Deneiva Knight works as the external affairs director at Comcast. In an already male-dominated industry, Deneiva has continued to show up with class. Her involvement in the Bolder Way Forward initiative also allowed her to work with many women in the community and collaborate on important causes. She was awarded with the Pathfinder Award.
